A ground provisions vendor was robbed of $800,000 cash when four gunmen invaded her home at Fyrish Village, Corentyne early Tuesday morning.

So far police have been unable to apprehend any suspects in the daring robbery but they are continuing investigations.

A statement from the police said that 60-year old Thelma Williams and her family were asleep around 2:30 am when four armed men broke into their home and confronted them. The suspects then robbed them of the money and fled the area in a white car
